The Palace pets are the loveable companions of the Disney Princesses. Currently there are a total of 38 pets.

- Originally, many of the pets were colored to look closer to their owners. This had been changed before the release of the series; possibly to look more attractive to the intended buyers.
- Matey, Sultan, Taj, Pounce, Nyle and Sundrop are the only male pets.
- Not counting the pets, the smallest animal set would be the birds - who have just recently been released with two pets.
- Meadow and Gleam are the only pets who had a major appearance change in terms of color after release.
- Fern and Sundrop are the only birds.
- Truffles is the only domestic pet since she's a pig.
- Brie is the only mouse pet.
- Muffin and Daisy have pigtails.
- Bibbidy and Petit wear earrings.
